Olivia Mancini
Olivia Mancini writes pop songs. Sometimes she plays them by herself. Sometimes she plays them with the band. Upbeat, melody-driven, and not interested in being taken too seriously, Olivia-the-music is a lot like Olivia-the-person.
A Washington, DC, native, Olivia cut her teeth playing bass in the Washington Social Club. WSC disbanded in 2007, but Olivia and drummer/producer Randy Scope continued to work together. Randy Scope produced Olivia Mancini & the Housemates' first album, This Kind of Life, that same year. The Chatterbox EP (produced by Roger Greenawalt) followed in 2008, and You Can See the Mountains From Here (produced by Brian McTear) in 2009. A 7-inch vinyl single featuring "For Ricky/You're the One" (produced by Roger Greenawalt) was released in 2011.
Olivia also plays bass for Donny Hue and the Colors and writes music for movies like Always Somebody's Baby and The Undying.
She divides her time between Washington and New York and can reached here.
